Through the storm
Well, for any of you that have had problems getting here the last few weeks, the good news is that we should be in better shape now. When you deal with this kind of technology, there is always the side of it that requires a lot of attention to detail and having to deal with unexpected results. We've got a good group handling the web hosting of our site and I'm confident we're clean sailing once again.
I've had a busy day... got up 5AM to do the sound system at church. Got out of church just after noon and came home to work on the sites 'til now... it's 10PM. I'm tired.
welcome back, I'da found you sonner but apparently osiris is gone :)
thanks!
Yes, you will only find me at www.bugimus.com for now. No more osiris for serving web pages. Osiris hasn't actually gone away, it's just doing different things now.
I think things are back to what they should be :-)
Now I can concentrate on getting that new puzzle I had you beta test for me released. I'm pretty jazzed about that toy. I like the idea that I'll be able to feature pictures of anything and from anyone on it.
Did you check out my comments on MacArthur?
Yeah, you're mistaken about the scandal, I recall what you're talking about but can't recall *whom* you're talking about. Either Swindoll or Stanley? Onea them S guys.
Haven't had a chance to look at your radio link either, I actually popped it open at work today but didn't get around to listening or reading yet.
Is this the guy you were asking about at your church's board?
No, I was asking about this other guy called Roy Masters. He sounds kind of out there but until you really listen and understand what someone is saying, you're not sure it's wrong.
I'm glad to hear that MacArthur wasn't the guy who had that problem because I remember really liking his teachings. It helps to know that the guys that are teaching have some integrity. But on the other hand, everyone has their weaknesses and forgiveness is a big part of what we're all about.
Dennis is Jewish. He is a religious Jew as well so we part company when it comes to Jesus however you will not find many people with such a gift for rational thought as him. When it comes to moral issues and social issues, he's your guy. He's very fair minded and is willing to listen to other points of view and evaluate them.
Speaking of religious Jews, if you don't know about Zola Levitt already, you should definitely check him out. His insight into the Jewish religion and law and how Christ is the mirror image of it all, is incredible.
I studied these 3 pamphlet like books and must say they're fantastic:
*CHRISTIAN LOVE STORY*
The beautiful story of the wedding customs of Israel in Messiah's time and how He fulfilled these traditions in calling out His bride, the Church. A striking and inspiring example of scriptural logic and elegance.
*THE MIRACLE OF PASSOVER*
A complete explanation of Passover, the crown jewel of the biblical feasts, and how the Messiah appears in every moment of it. One of the most basic and important Bible studies, shedding clear light on the mysteries of the Lord's Supper.
*THE SEVEN FEASTS OF ISRAEL*
The elegant and beautiful system of the special days of holy convocation and how each one has been or will be fulfilled in prophecy. An explanation of the commandments of Jehovah to Moses on Mount Sinai regarding the festival days and their deep significance. Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles are shown in all their glory.
I figured I oughta share those, they are fantastic witnessing tools for Jews and really great affirmation for the believer as well. I think you would like this guy's stuff.
