Tribute to Peace

Peace requires more than wishful thinking. I submitted this piece to a tribute to peace web page in hopes it would stimulate some thoughts. I wanted to do something that wasn't heavy handed but was heavy in signficance.

I hope bigyou will include this on his page: Tribute to Peace

Awesome! I'm so glad you got it up there.

That is such a great graphic. I think we are long overdue for one of our long long discussions about world events. Don't you think?

pretty =)

Looks a bit disembodied though. Rational people will not take that as any kind of sign tho ;)

And I'll leave the discussions to you to, I've heard and read enough to be sick to death, though I'll keep reading and listening. What a rubbernecker.

God bless us and keep us all.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by disembodied. I was trying to make it very minimalistic and that's why the very light shading and such. I wanted it to match what bigyou was doing with the other submissions.

The statement was meant to "sneak" into the mind by questioning whether you're saving the baby by avoiding war (in which case Iraqi kids continue to die) or you go to war (in which case some of us and them die so that both can live freely after the sacrifice).

Not an easy choice either way you look at it.

I'm doing my best to stay in the discussion and face this head on. I'm sure you've been checking out the Asylum and I'll admit it's exhausting mentally and spiritually but if I sit by silent it's going to hurt more in my case.

It's times like these though that really do demonstrate the power of prayer and the Peace (yes Him) that we both share.

disembodied as in "floating head" "bodyless head" you know ;) that was just a poke though, I like it (the small cropped version avoids the disembodied thing).

I'll continue to pray for you man, I know you're called to speak there, beat your head against that wall so to speak. I just hope and pray your head doesn't split ;) And call on me if you need anything at all. I haven't been substantially around much lately due to busy-ness but it's always nice to take a break to help a brother out, blessings to the Mitchells.
