New Gallery Album Ready for TESTING

New Photo Album ==> Circus Circus February 28, 2004 ! ! !

This is NOT a debut, so hold all the comments about how icky this thing looks. I'm getting the functionality in place. Please do let me know if there are any problems seeing or navigating the gallery and I'll be working on making it look a little nicer.

Wella is hard a work getting all the photographs organized and I'll be uploading new sections as that is completed.

I am pretty happy with this gallery code from http://gallery.sourceforge.net/

Gallery is (was?) a BEAR to hack. presentation was strewn *everywhere* and very fragmented last I looked at it. I know they were concerned with that for future releases so maybe it's fixed by now?

I'd certainly like to hear your thoughts on that after you've dug into it a bit. I like the software but it was a little painful to customize last I used it (v1.3.1 I think?)

BTW your link is now dead

I have a feeling it is still a BEAR to hack. From the little I poked around in it, it sure looks that way still. But I think it may take a little bit of time before I'll tackle that one. I'll just mess around with the style sheet a bit for color changes for now.

I migrated to a new server this last week and that is why the link was broken. It should be corrected now.

It's a fairly simple thing to wrap it in a header and footer, well, I only say that cuz I did it, I don't recall what all it involved as it's been a while.

I seem to remember v2 was the target version for ease of hackability. I pretty much forgot about the thing til I see some v2s! Awesome for photo management and tho. A must for people with wee beautiful children!
