On the way home today, I was listening to the Dennis Prager radio program. He told a story that I found very touching and poignant. He was making the point that by apologizing to your children after the parent has done something clearly wrong serves to make so many thing better than they otherwise would be.

He said that he rarely loses his temper with his children, perhaps only once a year because he tends to be a fairly easy-going parent. On one occasion he lost his temper with his youngest son.

His son couldn't sleep and came into Dennis' bedroom and said, "Daddy, you could have been angry a lot better".

Dennis was moved and walked over to his little 9 year old boy and hugged him and said, "You're right and I'm sorry".

They hugged some more and soon after his son went right to sleep. I didn't shed any tears while listening to this but I came close. I think it was a very important lesson that saying you're sorry when you should makes all the sense in the world and by no means could it lessen the image your children have of their loving parents.

I know it's not spring yet but if I don't let Kianna use this Spring Outfit now, she will never use it at all since she is getting bigger and bigger everyday. So allow me to show you her new spring outfit.

Anybody who has comments feel free to send me a comment, good or bad I will appreciate them. This set of pictures were from Kianna's first taste of solid food. She just turned four months and we had a ball when she first tasted the Oatmeal Cereal. You'll see.....Read the captions at the top of each pop up window as you view the pictures.
