I like dairy products. I like dairy products... a lot.

I was eating pizza with some friends the other day. We were eating at one of those gourmet pizza restaurants, you know the kind, they have tuna pizza, turkey pizza, bbq chicken pizza... etc. Anyway, all the pizzas have excellent fresh crusts. The crust is almost good enough to be a meal by itself.

So after eating most of my pizza I start slathering butter all over that awesome crust and eating it that way. Sure there was still cheese on it and some other pizza toppings but that butter just made it that much better. My friends looked at me like I was from Mars.

So I just pointed out the fact that my mother is from Wisconsin and then they understood, LOL!!! I mean my mom loves cheese, butter, cream, all that stuff. I guess it's in the blood. In fact, as I write this, I'm eating a bowl of cereal with nonfat milk? 1%? 2%? Whole milk? Not on your life!!! I've got Half&Half in this bowl... YUMMY!!!

I love you, Mom! Thanks for all the genes :-)

So I'm driving along the freeway I drive almost everyday and I look off to my right and what do I see? A palm tree. So you are wondering how could that be a big deal for someone who lives in Southern California? Don't you see palm trees everywhere you go? Well, yes, there are ubiquitous to be sure.

That is no ordinary palm tree... it's a palm tower! Yes, the only thing more numerous than palm trees in SoCal are the cell phone stations on the sides of buildings, church steeples, and now camoflauged towers. I just had to laugh because I bet very few people have noticed this thing for what it truly is. I guess that's probably a good thing.

Traffic accidents happen every day on the South Bay freeway system. Everyone hears about them on the news. Sometimes you see the accidents after the fact as you drive by. And then sometimes they happen right next to you.

So on Wednesday morning a car rear ends the one in front of it as I witness this right in front of me. Not a big deal just a fender bender. Then on Thursday afternoon, a car right behind me in an adjacent lane decides to cut right in front of an 18 wheeler... smack!!! Very messy. Nobody got hurt but the car was in bad shape.

Last year, my wife and I were driving home in mediumly heavy traffic. A motorcycle zooms by us and I thought to myself, it would really have sucked if I had been making a lane change because he came out of nowhere. Motorcycles will often speed in between lanes to get to their destinations faster.

So we hit major traffic as we get closer to home and we notice there's an accident in the fast lane. As we drive by we're listening to the traffic report on the radio just as I peer over and see the covered body of, you guessed it, that very same motorcyclist just as the report announces a fatality involving a motorcycle. That one really had me thinking for a while. Zooming by me one moment and worm food the next... the admonition to "drive safely" really hit home.

Well, for any of you that have had problems getting here the last few weeks, the good news is that we should be in better shape now. When you deal with this kind of technology, there is always the side of it that requires a lot of attention to detail and having to deal with unexpected results. We've got a good group handling the web hosting of our site and I'm confident we're clean sailing once again.

I've had a busy day... got up 5AM to do the sound system at church. Got out of church just after noon and came home to work on the sites 'til now... it's 10PM. I'm tired.
