What a nice topic, virtual colonoscopy. Someone has got to check out the ole colon to make sure everything is coming out ok... so to speak. Well, I guess this is most commonly done in a manual fashion shall we say? So now they have a device that can do the examination without any invasion into... well, you know. It's actually a really wonderful technology and I'm sure it will become the norm in a few years to come.

Here's the funny part though. I got up early on April 1, 2002, otherwise known as April Fool's Day. I was listening to the Bill Handel radio program on KFI 640AM and an advertisement came on for the Vital Imaging Center's Virtual Colonoscopy service. Here's the opening words to the advert, "Hi! This is your common sense guy, Benjamin Dover, talking to you about...". Benjamin Dover??? You have got to be kidding! For colonoscopy? I nearly died laughing and was sure it was an April Fool's prank.

But no, I did a little research and found this http://www.bendover.com/ So truth really is stranger than fiction. LOL!!!
